Internet dating websites are here, y'all. So, unfortunately, are the poorly-written, terribly generic, all-around bad introductory emails that people (usually guys) send people (usually girls).

If you've received a bad first email in response to your profile on Match, eHarmony, OKCupid, JDate, or any of the other sites promising love and lust, please send it to dot.kate.1 (at) gmail.com and I am very likely to post it in all its glory.

If you noticed that there's a common grammar error (a squinting modifier) in my blog subtitle, please feel free to suggest a snappy alternative. Seriously. In related news, the term "squinting modifier" delights me with its surprising descriptiveness.
